• Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12, is one of the most resistant bifidobacteria to the action of bile and is able to tolerate oxygen which, unlike other bifidobacteria, B. lactis BB-12 is able to colonize even the upper part of the 'small intestine. The microorganisms in this formulation are microencapsulated in a polysaccharide matrix which makes them gastro-resistant. It is naturally present in the intestine, it helps to regulate the functions of the digestive system, restoring the balance of the bacterial flora;
