How does Solgar Oligo Rame Plus copper supplement work?

Solgar Oligo Copper Plus protects cells from oxidative stress, thanks to the action of its active ingredient, Copper,   which contributes to normal energy metabolism, bone mineralization and the formation of connective tissue and red blood cells, the synthesis of melanin, always protecting cells from oxidative stress. Copper is essential for the formation of the enzyme SOD (superoxide dismutase) where it plays a catalytic role. This enzyme is important in defending the body from the toxic action of oxygen free radicals and tissue damage resulting from chronic inflammatory conditions such as joint inflammation. Copper is also important for the absorption and utilization of iron in the formation of hemoglobin. In association with vitamin C, copper promotes the formation of muscle elastin.
