Q10 redox is a food supplement based on Coenzyme Q10 in reduced form (100 mg of Ubiquinol * per pearl) and highly absorbable and Olive oil (Olea europea) which has an important antioxidant action. Coenzyme Q10 is a substance present in human tissues and involved in the cell's electron transfer processes.

Ubiquinol
It is the reduced form of Coenzyme Q10. It is an antioxidant substance present in human tissues and involved in the energy production processes in the cell's mitochondria. Under optimal conditions, the body converts Ubiquinone into Ubiquinol which has the same benefits as Ubiquinone and therefore supports the cardiovascular system, cellular energy production and lipophilic antioxidant action. Ubiquinol protects blood lipids, including LDL cholesterol, from radicals. In addition, Ubiquinol helps recycle vitamin E, another lipophilic antioxidant. However, the conversion of Ubiquinone to Ubiquinol loses efficiency with aging due to increased metabolic demand, oxidative stress and enzyme deficiencies. Some people also fail to convert Coenzyme Q10 to Ubiquinol correctly in cell membranes due to a genetic polymorphism (variation of the NQ01 gene). People with this genetic abnormality, people over the age of 40, and those suffering from age-related health disorders can benefit from taking this form of Coenzyme Q10.
