Therapeutic indications
Streptosil Neomycin Powder is used in the treatment of superficial skin infections (folliculitis, furunculosis, small burns and infected wounds).

Dosage and method of use
Streptosil Neomycin Powder should be taken in the following doses and methods: lift the colored cap, press the two sides of the bottle rhythmically and thoroughly, holding it horizontally or slightly oblique; lightly sprinkle the affected area with the powder and cover with sterile gauze; renew the application twice a day. It is recommended to practice a light sprinkling, using the minimum necessary of powder to avoid the formation of crusts and to allow a rapid solubilization and diffusion of the components. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Contraindications

Special warnings
Because of the potential risk of kidney and eye injury from neomycin, prolonged use or use of high quantities of the product on areas of extensive ulcerated skin, such as skin infections secondary to extensive burns, trophic ulcers, should be avoided. in all conditions in which absorption of neomycin is possible.

The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use, can give rise to sensitization phenomena. After a short period of treatment without noticeable results, consult your doctor. In infancy, the product should be administered in cases of real need, under the direct supervision of the doctor.
