PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC CATEGORY

ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
100 g of ointment contain: sulfur for external use 17 g, potassium carbonate 8 g.

EXCIPIENTS
White petroleum jelly.

INDICATIONS
Treatment of fungal skin infections, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis and parasitic skin diseases (scabies).

CONTRAINDICATIONS / SECONDARY EFFECT
Hypersensitivity 'to the active substance or to any of the excipients; extensive skin lesions; children under 3 years of age.

DOSAGE
Adults and adolescents, children over 3 years of age Apply the ointment, in the quantity necessary in relation to the part to be treated, 2 - 3 times a day. For the treatment of scabies, after applying the ointment it is necessary to vigorously rub the area to be treated; furthermore, the ointment must be left in contact with the skin for at least 24 hours without washing. The treatment must continue for at least 3 consecutive days.

STORAGE
Do not store above 30 degrees C. Keep container tightly closed in the original package.

WARNINGS
External use. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes, genitals and other mucous membranes. The use, especially if prolonged, of medicines for local use can give rise to phenomena of irritation or sensitization. In this case, it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and institute a suitable therapy.
