Description
The product consists of a sterile preservative-free ophthalmic solution containing hyaluronic acid and Ginkgo biloba extract which has the purpose of protecting the corneal cells, lubricating the ocular surface, stabilizing and replenishing the tear film.
Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that becomes part of numerous tissues in the body.
It has the property of adhering to the ocular surface, protecting, humidifying and lubricating it.
Due to its mucoadhesive characteristics it remains on the surface of the eye for a long time and stabilizes the tear film, bringing relief to all dry eye conditions.
Ginkgo biloba extract, commonly used in many fields of medicine, has components that exert antioxidant and protective activities on the ocular surface.
These substances, and the flavonoids, are able to exert a neutralizing action on free radicals which, otherwise, would be harmful to the horny-conjunctival cells.
Indications
Stabilizing and reintegrating tear substitute in the alterations of the histological continuity of the corneal surface; the product is useful in the after-effects of excimer laser and in quantitative and qualitative alterations of the tear film.
How to use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day, or as needed.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to product components or other chemically related substances.
Precautions and warnings
• Close the bottle tightly after use.
• To eliminate the risk of solution contamination, do not allow the dropper to come into contact with the eye or other objects.
• Do not use in case of eye infections.
• In case of administration of ophthalmic solutions for curative purposes, consult your doctor.
• Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the bottle.
• Do not store above 25 ° C.
• The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
• Keep the preparation out of the reach of children.
Side effects
There are no reported side effects after using the product.
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
A slight blurring of vision may result after applying the product.
