Rhodiola rosea based tablets.

Therapeutic indications

Vitango is a traditional herbal medicine indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with stress, such as fatigue, exhaustion and mild anxiety. The use of this traditional herbal medicine, for the indicated therapeutic indications, is based exclusively on the experience of many years of use.

Dosage and Posology

The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods: 2 tablets a day, one before breakfast and one before lunch, to be taken with a glass of water, preferably 30 minutes before food.

The maximum duration of therapy is 14 days. If symptoms worsen or persist while using the medicine, contact a doctor.

Use in children under 12 is contraindicated. Use in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency is contraindicated

Overdose

No cases of overdose have been reported.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients
• Children under 12.
• Renal or hepatic insufficiency.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions and hypoglycaemia have been reported.

This product is contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation as no data are available for this patient group.

Special warnings

Patients with signs and symptoms of depression should notify their physician for appropriate treatment. Use in children under 12 years and in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency is contraindicated as there are no adequate data for these patient groups. Consult a doctor or a qualified healthcare professional if symptoms persist during use of the medicinal product or if adverse reactions not mentioned in the package leaflet occur. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Check the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiry date indicated on the package refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. No special storage conditions are required for this medicinal product.

Active principle

200 mg dry extract of Rhodiola rosea root (1.5 - 5: 1) (WS 1375) (equivalent to 300-1000 mg of Rhodiola rosea root and rhizome)

Excipients

Microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, precipitated silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, stearic acid, red iron oxide, titanium dioxide, antifoam emulsion.
